The Northeast Territories Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a collaborative initiative between the Northeast Territories and the Government of Canada, designed to support immigrants seeking to settle in the northeastern region of the country. This program enables employers in the territory to recruit skilled workers globally, helping strengthen the local economy and address labour shortages in key sectors.
The PNP assists employers in filling critical skill gaps efficiently. By attracting skilled workers from around the world, the program brings fresh perspectives, innovative work practices, and specialized expertise to the territory. The process is designed to be swift, streamlined, and employer-friendly, ensuring that the right candidates are matched with suitable opportunities.
The program includes a Critical Impact Worker stream to help employers fill vacancies during urgent periods, ensuring that economic growth is not hampered by workforce shortages. This feature guarantees timely access to skilled labour when it is most needed.
Applicants are encouraged to register with the Canada Express Entry system, which allows assessment for both Express Entry and the Northeast Territories PNP.
