Ontario PNP

Ontario’s Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) selects foreign workers, students, and entrepreneurs for permanent residence.

Ontario Provincial Nominee Programme (PNP)

The Ontario Provincial Nominee Programme (PNP) combines the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme and the Ontario Express Entry Programme. According to the latest draw by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), up to 6,000 applicants are expected to move to Canada through this immigration pathway.

How the Ontario PNP Works

This programme allows Ontario to recruit skilled workers from around the world to fill labor gaps in both growing and struggling sectors. Applicants are handpicked based on provincial workforce needs rather than solely relying on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of Express Entry. Although it functions independently from Express Entry, data from the Express Entry Job Bank helps guide selections.
